American Lung Association of Hawaii : Advocacy


The Public Policy Advocacy program of the American Lung Association of Hawaii (ALAH) is accredited by the national American Lung Association for Excellence in Advocacy.
The American Lung Association of Hawaii supports legislative lung health issues at the local, state, and national levels. Volunteers provide personal grassroots contacts with county and, state officials and Hawaii's Congressional Delegation in support of public policy goals.

State of Tobacco Control

American Lung Association-Improving Life, One Breath at a Time

The “Tobacco Report Card” provides up-to-date information on tobacco control progress in Hawaii compared to the other states in the nation to the media and general public. The goal of the report card is to raise public consciousness of tobacco control as a significant contribution to lung health.
 
 
 

State of the Air Report
 
The State of the Air Report is an annual report that provides up-to-date information on state by state air quality reports. The goal of the report is to raise public consciousness of air quality in Hawaii and around the Nation.
